Compementary Unit
With your Healthcare Support Assistant (HSA) Certificate you can work anywhere in the world as a Caregiver, Carer, Hospital Support Worker, HCA or Nursing Assistant. Students who have this certificate have been fully trained and are qualified Caregivers. They can choose to go and work internationally in UK, US, Canada, Australia, etc. as long as they meet the work requirements of their employers and the countries, depending on available opportunities. Students can also choose to work locally (as long as they are licensed and registered as HSA’s in Kenya) in hospitals, hospices, home care agencies, medical centers, clinics, or be self employed as personal care or home care aides. BTI also endeavours to keep all students especially those who excel on all upcoming opportunities both international and local. Alternatively, students can also choose to further their education by taking additional training or classes in the vast field of healthcare.
